Angela has an undergraduate degree in English and an M.A. in teaching. Until her son was born, she attempted to convince middle school students that writing workshops were just as exciting as perfecting the art of texting through your pocket. Angela blogs at Tread Softly where she writes about life one book at a time, melding together a love of reading, writing, and the lovely miscellany making up her world. She is a freelance writer, contributing writer at Just Be Enough, and freelance copy editor and beta reader. A managing editor at Write on Edge, she works to grow and nurture an on-line community of creative writers. Angela and her husband Ryan grew up in southeastern Michigan and currently live in metro Detroit with their children Abbey and Dylan.
