Dara Michalski is the writer, recipe developer and photographer behind the award winning site, Cookin’ Canuck. Over the past year, Dara dropped 30 pounds by focusing on healthy eating and exercise. She is convinced that a screw came loose along the way, resulting in her running her first marathon. It turns out that running and eating well are a form of self-preservation for her and her husband - it's the only way they can keep up with their two active and rambunctious boys.
