Sherri Kuhn is a freelance writer who is married to her high school sweetheart and is the mother of two teenagers. She is a recovering CPA who discovered when she became a mother that there was more to life than debits and credits. After being a stay-at-home mom when her son and daughter were younger, she found a new passion in working with at-risk elementary school students. She recently realized she forgot to become a writer, and is now following that passion. With a son in college and a daughter heading to high school, Sherri always has something to write about. Much of her writing is heartfelt and sentimental - with an occasional side of sarcasm and humor. She loves to write about her teenagers from the perspective of how quickly they have grown, and engages readers with children of all ages. Her writing has been featured on Moonfrye, Nickelodeon Parents Connect, Mamapedia, BlogHer, SheKnows and on her personal blog Old Tweener. She was chosen as a cast member for the 2012 Listen to Your Mother show in San Francisco. Sherri lives in Northern California with her husband, daughter and yellow lab.
