Now that I’m a mom, I’m extra touched and inspired by projects that allow me to help other moms and babies throughout the world. Therefore, I was honored to help launch the JOHNSON’S® BABY CARES campaign in support of Save the Children, which helps to provide funding and resources to ensure families have basic essentials to care for their babies in times of crisis.
I was shocked to learn that according to Save the Children, 90 percent of children in the U.S. live in areas at risk of natural disasters; disasters that could potentially take everything away from moms and their babies. I couldn’t imagine what it would be like to be in such a situation with Luca. The idea that we could be without the most basic things like soap or diaper cream… it’s heartbreaking.
The bright side of this picture is that we’re all able to do our part to prepare help for a situation like this. As part of my work with the campaign, I’ll be assembling JOHNSON’S® Baby “Care Kits” filled with JOHNSON’S® BABY products such as wash, lotion, shampoo, powder and diaper cream, which will be sent to families in need, both in the U.S. and around the world, following a disaster.

Get involved
And simply spread the word! Creating awareness is often half the battle, so as we approach Mother’s Day, I encourage you to think about the moms and babies throughout the world that may need some extra TLC this year.
Thanks, all.
Hugs,
Hilary
