For moms, caring for their children is the biggest, most important job in the world. And many of us learned what we know from our own moms. In honor of Mother's Day, I asked allParenting writers to share photos of themselves with their moms, along with their favorite memories. We are moms ourselves now, but we still love our mommies!

^ My mom and I have always taken an annual mom-daughter trip to Laguna Beach each summer. I love those few days we spend together — seeing a play, shopping, enjoying wine and laughter and bonding. My mom is one of my best friends, and I cherish the time we have together. This photo was taken the summer before I became a mom. My husband and I had received my son's adoption referral photo, and we were in the early stages of the wait. I had so much fun on this particular trip — and I knew I'd soon be a mom and my mom would soon be a grandma!
