There is a barcode scanner that you can use to look up vintage information. This app also offers the convenience of looking up wine ratings and prices, as well as finding a nearby wine bar. It also connects to Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare to share your favorite wines.

Vivino is an extremely user-friendly app with a very simple concept. Snap a picture of a wine label and the software matches it to the exact product and vintage. From there you can rate any wine, making it easy for you to remember your favorites!

Featuring nearly 2,000 wineries, this app provides addresses, phone numbers, website links and maps. The app also features regularly updated coupons and specials at select wineries. Choose from 13 different wine producing regions (all separate apps), from California to Oregon to New York.

Wine Events is a simple app allowing you to explore wine and food events in your area or any wine destination. Within each event listing, Wine Events provides the where, what, who and even indicates if there is a cost. This app also allows you the option of posting the event to Facebook.
