The food items that I like to pin on Pinterest to my Get in my belly board are usually the ones that make you go, “Now why didn’t I think of that?” I prefer the practical recipes that involve minimal time and even fewer ingredients. Pinterest is crawling with genius ideas that follow suit.
Veggie holds the dip
Possibly the simplest of all: Hollow out a bell pepper and fill it with your favorite vegetable dip or cheese. Serve on a tray of veggies. Need I say more? I always use the green pepper since it’s my kids’ least favorite. It’s smart and fun!
Caprese salad skewers
I’ve made this scrumptious salad on a stick for both parties of many and an occasional party for one. On toothpicks, slide on fresh mozzarella pearls, basil, and grape or cherry tomatoes. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar or dressing and a dash of pepper. Divine!
This delightful dessert will have people raving about your culinary skills. Oh, if they only knew! Carve out the inside of the strawberry, stuff with ready-made cheesecake-in-a-tub (or if you want to make your own, that’s fine too) and roll the tops over crushed graham crackers. Go one step further and dip them in chocolate or add flavored whipped cream if you wish. The possibilities are endless with this one! Be sure to make double — they go fast!
Pinterest comes first before any other recipe site when I’m searching for something new to cook up, and it’s yet to let me down! You can follow me on Pinterest for more super-easy and fabulous pins.
