Let's face it... homemade salad dressing just tastes better. These four vinaigrettes are not only full of flavor but also easy and inexpensive to make. So grab your whisk and let's get started!

Everyday vinaigrette
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup canola oil
- 1/6 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/6 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Directions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, red wine vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper.
- Slowly pour in the canola oil while whisking to combine all of the ingredients.

Dijon mustard and shallot vinaigrette
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon minced shallot
- 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Directions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the white wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, shallot, salt and pepper.
- Slowly pour in the extra virgin olive oil while whisking to combine all of the ingredients.

Lemon caper vinaigrette
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon minced drained capers
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil*
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the red wine vinegar, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic, lemon zest, capers and parsley.
- Slowly pour in the extra virgin olive oil while whisking to combine all of the ingredients.
*For a healthier option, olive oil can be substituted for 3/4-cup chicken stock plus 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Caesar salad vinaigrette
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, white wine vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Slowly pour in the extra virgin olive oil while whisking to combine all of the ingredients.
